‘Devil’s Night’ is a dark amen rinse out filled with nasty switches, gritty drum fills, huge earth quaking bass, and a rugged progression. Definitely one of Indidjinous’ heavier, rawer productions, this tune is sure to devastate the listener and smash up any dancehall it’s dropped at! ‘Devil’s Night’ encompasses a lot of our favorite aspects of the classic dark, tech-step, amen sound, with some serious sci-fi, alienesque vibes to boot; it’s a scorcher!
‘Swellz’ is a running yet, half-stepish D&B tune that comes at you full throttle, filled with intricate hi-hat fills filtered, panned, and delayed to perfection. A primal, stomping beat leads the way as the drums quickly morph into funk-fueled rhythms that perplex. Suddenly, a droning, primordial bassline takes the tune to flight, grabbing a hold of the listener, and letting them go into a flurry of abstractions. This is another classic piece of that tribal, dark, intricate Indidjinous sound that we’ve grown to love over the years; definitely one for the collection.
